Wedding Plans & Location
Chris and Cass got married on Labor Day weekend of 2005 near Port Townsend, WA, which is located 2 hours from Seattle on the scenic Olympic Peninsula.
They were lucky enough to discover the wedding location by chance -- during a drive through the woods near Port Townsend. It is a privately-owned rustic resort called Chevy Chase Cabins, overlooking Discovery Bay, 10 minutes away from Port Townsend. The wedding and reception were held here, and the rehearsal dinner was at the Fountain Café in town.
Family stayed with Chris and Cass in cabins at the wedding location, and friends stayed in the cute historic hotels in Port Townsend. They all spent 3 days on the Peninsula engaged in many activities, including golf, hiking on Hurricane Ridge, and many meals.
